Since the introduction of the iPhone 5 I have found myself becoming increasingly “bored” with iOS. Which is how I found myself becoming interested in Android phones again.
The iOS user interface (UI) has remained basically unchanged ever since it’s introduction 6 years ago. Yes, they have added many new features (remember how big a deal cut/copy/paste was?) but the UI itself is still the same. Android on the other hand, is virtually infinitely customizable. Widgets and many other customizations abound on Android and I find myself wanting, no needing, a change from the same tired and boring UI I’ve become accustomed too.
Which brings us to todays unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. And my return from the land of not posting any content to the site for quite some time. I’ve been very busy but also losing interest in reviewing products, here’s hoping introducing some fresh Androidness into my diet reinvigorates my reviewing spirit. So far, it’s working pretty well.
I hope you enjoy my unboxing. I will of course have a full review coming up on the Note 2 as well as accessories for it. Stay tuned. UncleTone is back.
