Since Microsoft announced Windows Phone 7 back at Mobile World Congress, there has been very little talk abut email and calendaring and how they will interact with other features like Office Mobile. A new video shows just what you can expect from the email experience and it even shows how Office Mobile will be seamlessly integrated in the device by opening an attachment, editing a value in the PowerPoint and then emailing the resulting file. While this is possible in today’s Windows Phone 6.5, it’s no where near as clean and easy to do as it is on Windows Phone 7.
I’m pretty excited by Windows Phone 7. It’s a huge breath of fresh air into Microsoft’s aging mobile offerings. Windows Phone 7 is expected to launch holiday 2010. Devices will be available from a number of hardware partners. However no price point has been mentioned.
