Last week we kicked off our part of the RingCentral Ultimate Small Business Starter Package giveaway. Today we are happy to announce the winner of a RingCentral Mobile account with 12 months of free service. But before we do that, I want to thank RingCentral for including Mobile Jaw in this giveaway. Our lucky winner not only gets a year of free service with RingCentral, but they are also entered in a chance to be one of 5 winners of the ultimate small business starter package. Each of the 24 sites will submit their winner. So our lucky person has 5 chances out of 24 to win the ultimate package. Please check our previous post for full details on what they win and what they will have a chance at winning. RingCentral Ultimate Small Business Starter Package Giveaway Starts Now!!

At the start of the month we told you about the RingCentral Ultimate Small Business Starter Package giveaway. MobileJaw along with 23 other sites will each be giving away 1 account with 12 months of free service from RingCentral. Out of those 24 winners, 5 will be select for the grand prize of a Ultimate Small Business Startup Package. A complete list of what the grand prize winners will get is listed below, along with a complete list of the sites that are taking part in the giveaway.

Today is the start of our giveaway here at MobileJaw. You have until the end of day on April 25th to enter. The lucky winner will be randomly selected and will receive 1 account with 12 months of free service from RingCentral. MobileJaw will randomly select a winner from all the valid entries and will announce the winner on April 26. As well, they will be entered into the draw for one of 5 grand prizes. This contest is open to anyone regardless of where you may live or work in the world. (We’re sorry, but RingCentral is unable to extend service to anyone living outside of the planet Earth)

In order to enter you need to take a picture of your office and send it in an email to RingCentralGiveaway@MobileJaw.com with a subject line of “RingCentral Ultimate Small Business Starter Package”. You can only enter once per person. If multiple entries are received from the same person, only the first ballot will be accepted. Also, please make sure you have the subject correct as the fancy software we’re using to tally the entries and select a winner won’t work if you don’t have the correct subject line. Warning – The winning entry may have their picture displayed on the front page of MobileJaw.

The RingCentral Ultimate Small Business Start-up Package Giveaway

RingCentral has partnered with Mobile Jaw and 23 other blogs to host the Ultimate Small Business Start-up Package. Starting today, and again every day until April 29th, a different blog will be offering a chance to win 12 months of free service of RingCentral Mobile (a $300 value). Each site will have their own contest with their own rules, and each site will pick their own winner. But that’s not end to the winnings. Each of the 24 winners will be entered into a draw to win one of five (5) grand prizes (valued at an additional $862, for a grand total of $1162)!

We just got word that Maggie, the winner of our AT&T Pantech Matrix Pro, has received her device and is she ever enjoying it. I have a feeling this device is going to get a lot of use. Congratulations Maggie, Enjoy the new phone!

AT&T Pantech Matrix Pro Giveaway!

Does everyone remember that giveaway we’ve talked about a couple times? Well, it’s now Mobile Jaw’s turn to giveaway a brand new Pantech Matrix Pro smartphone. The Matrix Pro is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard device (that means it doesn’t have a touch screen), that sports a regular 12-key slide-down number pad, as well as a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. If you’re not familiar with the Matrix Pro, I would suggest you take a couple minutes to read my review of it as well as the reviews from other popular mobility websites.

What do you need to do to enter and have a chance at winning this device? With Mother’s Day fast approaching, I thought it would be nice to include our mother’s in this contest. So, to enter, you need to post a picture of you and your mother. Since we don’t have the ability for you to upload your images, you have 2 choices on how to do this:

Share Your Thoughts on Microsoft’s Recent Windows Mobile Announcements and Win!

Microsoft has been making headlines as of late with the news of Windows Mobile 6.5 at Mobile World Congress, and more recently with details about Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Some think Microsoft’s efforts are too little / too late and that 6.5 doesn’t offer any significant advantage over Windows Mobile 6.1. Others are talking about the new developer initiatives around Windows Marketplace for Mobile saying that it doesn’t do anything for the hobbyist developer. Is Windows Mobile 6.5 nothing more than a way to bridge the distance between now and the release of Windows Mobile 7? And will the new Windows Phone name bring any real value? I’ve got plenty of thoughts and opinions about all of these topics, but I would really like to hear what you think about Microsoft’s plans – the good, the bad, and the ugly.
