Once I promised my 2G touch to my wife I got the green light to run out and get a new Apple iPod touch 4G! My biggest justification would be for the camera but mostly it’s bragging rights with all the others Dad’s at my kids’ schools. Reason enough, right?!?!
The newest iPod touch shares it’s styling much more with the previous touch models rather than with the new iPhone 4. Other than the styling, and of course lack of cellular, the touch 4G (do they even call it the 4G??) shares most of the new toys from the iPhone 4. You get the great Retina display and the front and rear facing cameras, allowing for Facetime calling.
Overall, a nice upgrade. I’ll get lots of use out of this, but I do have to say I’m a bit bored with iOS4 already.
BTW, this is the Canadian version. No, there’s no difference. I’m just sayin’.
