In case you’re no familiar with SwiftKey, it’s a cool keyboard you can install on your Android smartphone. But it’s more than just another keyboard. SwiftKey allows you to trace the letters of the word you want, instead of hammering away at that small screen keyboard. Simply place your finger on the first letter, and then trace along the keyboard, turning at each letter you want. It’s fast, it has great prediction capabilities, and it was the best selling application in the Android Play Store for 2012.

Now there’s a new beta release called SwiftKey Flow. This new beta brings some pretty awesome new features, like the ability to trace out whole sentences without taking your finger off the screen. Just trace over the space key and start your next word. Sure, it doesn’t seem like much, but check out this video to see it in action, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s easier and faster than traditional text entry on mobile devices.
The beta is available for Android based tablets and phones, and you can download it from here.
