Microsoft Announces Surface Pricing with Pre-Orders Starting Today

Back in June Microsoft announced to their new tablets called Surface with no pricing and availability was stated as “available at launch”. Today, Microsoft has revealed the price and the ability to pre-order with a delivery date of October 26.

There are 3 configurations available for pre-order. You can pick the 32GB without a cover, 32GB with a black touch cover, or a 64GB with a black touch cover. If you want any of the colored touch covers, you have to buy them as an accessory, along with a VGA out adapter, HDMI adapter, and an extra power adapter.

In the United States, the prices are $499, $599, $699, and the covers are $120 and $130.

Are you thinking of pre-ordering? Or are you going to head down to your local pop-up store and try to pick one up on October 26? If so, just head on over to http://surface.com – and let us know what you’ve decided on. I’ve pre-ordered a 64GB with an extra cyan Touch cover. :-)
