Back at CES 2012, Nokia announced the Lumia 710 would be launching on Rogers very soon. At that time, the general feel was that the larger and more powerful Lumia 900, may also be coming to Rogers. And as it turns out, that’s just what has happened. Today, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop, announced at Mobile World Congress that the Lumia 900 will soon be launching on Rogers here in Canada. The Lumia 900 features high-speed LTE network connectivity. That means you can expect super fast downloads. The 900 also adds a larger screen and the Carl Zeiss lens on the 8 megapixel camera for fantastic looking pictures.
As is typically the case, there is no mention of when this will be launched or how much it will cost. You can head over to Rogers.com/lumia900 and register to be among the first to own the 900. Rogers is hinting at an extra bonus for those that do pre-register. We’ll keep you posted on availability as we learn more. But for now, relax with the knowledge that one of the premier Windows Phones will be making its way to Canada.
