Microsoft Turns on Mango – Windows Phone 7.5 Goes Live

Microsoft has flipped the switch and started the rollout of Windows Phone 7.5 – previously known as Mango. The first thing you’ll be asking is “how do I get this on my phone?”  No worries, the “Where’s my phone update?” page has been refreshed to show Mango release details for carriers around the world and in the United States. Currently all the carriers are showing “Scheduling” which means that the update has finished carrier testing and Microsoft is getting it ready to deliver. The approximate wait time should be no more than 10 days. Telus has already mentioned in a tweet that the LG Optimus 7 is pushing down.
 If Mango on your phone wasn’t enough to make your day, you can now browse the new WindowsPhone.com website that features full access to the MarketPlace. Great news for everyone that’s wanted to browse the market from their desktop. :-)

    Mango update went smoothly. The only issue that I noticed is my theme changed from Red to Blue. Otherwise, AT&T Samsung Focus is Mango’ed :-)

      OK, that’s just weird. I haven’t heard of anyone else experiencing this issue, but you happen to get the exact same problem, but with reverse colors. Crazy.
