I have a Toshiba TG01 and it needs to be booted every time it comes back from the sleep mode due to the in ability to run a standard Windows piece of software that runs on all Windows operating systems. One minute it can see the memory card and the next it can not load from it. It also sometimes shows the correct icon for the software and another time it does not show an icon but still runs it. I do not understand why it changes the icon when it likes. I do not understand why it will lock up trying to load from the memory card on minute and then after a re-boot it will load ok. I have three phones and I do not have any problems on the other phones the Nokia E71 (not using Windows) Never fails me !! nor does the LG (Not using Windows) This is my first windows phone. I have been a computer support engineer on computers before Windows came about. (Days of Microsoft Basic, that worked ) I have seen the many disasters of windows on PC's for years. Microsoft have never managed memory correctly. This phone is a disaster !!!! The only reason I got the phone was because I needed to run this windows application.Otherwise I would have stayed away. I worked on many operating systems including Unix system V and CPM/MPM CCPM etc these never have the problems that Windows have. When will they learn !!!!

I could agree to the fact that WM has a lot of flaws and missing could-be additions. However, without those flaws, small corporations and private developers would not be able to make a quick and easy workarounds, for known existing WM flaws. Of course, its the each developers own concern and duty, to use as much less memory as possible, and to exceed Your own productivity. Veide Technologies software keeps this rule above all, we create software for windows mobile, that can greatly improve the overall performance of phone and system itself, by creating applications that allow more specific means and ways on how to solve known problems with phones and WM. (in example, vCard incompatibility, contact picture addition, you name them!).
